Directions Approaching from the West
From A1, M1, or M6, take the A14 east bound.
The A14 is a route rather than a single road and there are a number of points at which you must leave the current carriageway to continue on the A14 route - notably on approach to the M11 and Cambridge city.
A useful waymark on the A14, as it skirts the north of Cambridge, is going under the A10 (to Ely) roundabout where there is also a Tescos in sight.
The junction you require is the second after one after this; and the signpost includes "Burwell B1102, Newmarket B1303, and Stow-cum-Quy".
Come off at this junction; onto the roundabout; and turn right (3rd exit) towards Cambridge on the B1303.
At the next roundabout (by Cambridge/Marshalls airfield) take the first exit.
Then take the first left, by the school, into Teversham.
Then take first left, by "The Rose and Crown" and continue through the length of Teversham and out the other side.
Continue to the end of the road, crossing the railway line into Fulbourn and coming to a T-junction with "The Bakers Arms" on the right.
The entrance to "The Gate Lodge" is on this corner. Turn immediately left into "The Gate Lodge" entrance which opens directly onto the T-junction, on the opposite side to the pub.
